Études

An étude is a composition usually designed to train a particular musical skill.  Some études have achieved recognition in the concert repertory.  In light of their propensity for performance, études in this collection are generally more "musical" or expressive, whereas the "Fingers/Mechanism" collection includes material that is distinctly more technical in nature.
