"Written for the Imani Winds, Fable is inspired by the classic childhood stories we know and love. Usually involving lots of playful adventures, these stories also make use of overarching morals or lessons about being a kind, compassionate human which everyone can learn something from. The introductory movement is in a pastoral mood and serves as the basis for the later adventure and play that ensues in the second movement. Fable is also a testament to the fact that we often lose our child-like wonder and spirit as we grow up and I believe we should never lose that even as we mature."
