Repair Tech's Dream Linocut Print

  • Here's my question about this instrument: Into how many pieces does it disassemble?  Too many pieces would make it time consuming and difficult to remember how it goes together, but not enough pieces means that you have to store it in the biggest, lumpiest instrument case known to humankind...

This artwork is hand-printed from a hand-carved block, signed and numbered from a limited edition of 22. Each print comes with a certificate of authenticity.

Printed with dark blue oil-based ink on robust, 100% cotton Legion Stonehenge paper with a hand-torn or deckled (feathered) edge. The dark blue color appears as a cool black when viewed in dimmer lighting, and appears clearly as dark blue when viewed in brighter lighting (see preview image).

Much like live music performance, slight variations make each print unique from the next, resulting from the labor intensive hand-printing process.

    Image size: about 5.7" x 3.7"
    Paper size: about 8" x 6"

    Mat size: fits a standard 8" x 10" frame

This print is sold unframed, and can be purchased with or without a mat. CAMco strongly advises the use of a mat to frame art prints. Besides its decorative appeal, this thick border piece creates a crucial air gap between the artwork and the frame's glass for the print's long term preservation. CAMco uses acid free, archival grade materials for producing mats, and matted prints are sized to easily insert into standard picture frames (see size information above).
