  • This edition consists of one performing score.

    From the composer:
"With my composition I do not intend to focus on the sufferings of Huh-Chohi (1563–1589), called Huh-Nan-Seol-Heon, one of the most outstanding poets of the Josen-dynasty (1392–1897). More than that I would like to express with my music how Chohi communicates the fictitious, holy entity in Korean popular culture with Shin-Sunzi and Sheon-Nyoe. Through her art she could cope with rigid social pressure against our women.

As Wittgenstein stated: "Definitely there is the unspeakable: it reveals itself. It is the mystic." In this respect I consider Chohi as a mystic of her time. And that is what she remains for me until this day."
