    Francis Loriaux (1938-1974) "...was solo flutist at the Radio Lille Symphony Orchestra and the Flandres wind quintet.  In 1968, he finished the composition of this sonatine for clarinet which was written for Gilbert Voisin at Radio Lille."

    The work is written as a single movement, but is structured in five sections set by double barlines: Andante tranquillo, Allegretto rhythmico, Più lento, Lento malincolico, and Allegro vivace.
