Although this is a note-for-note adaptation of the well-known Hommages collection (catalogue # EDL2103), there are numerous tiny differences in the notation, mostly regarding articulation. Here are a few examples of the differences:
- mm. 6-7 are under a single slur, where EDL2103 slurs four separate 6-note groups
- m. 34's downbeat is an eighth-note followed by a sixteenth-note rest, where EDL2103 has a dotted-eighth note.
- m. 42 includes expression marking "furioso," which isn't present in EDL2103.
- m. 49's first four notes have the slurring instruction tongue 1+ slur 3, where EDL2103 has 1+2+1.
- m. 116 has fermata over the whole rest, which isn't present in EDL2103.
