Impromptu Linocut Print

I expect that most clarinetists with dogs at home are familiar with this scene.  For me, it was a black Labrador who would tolerate almost all of my clarinet practicing...the one exception was long tones on E-flat clarinet!

This artwork is hand-printed from a hand-carved block, signed and numbered from a limited edition of 18.  Each print comes with a certificate of authenticity.

Printed with dark blue oil-based ink on 100% cotton Legion Somerset Satin paper with a hand-torn or deckled (feathered) edge. 

The dark blue color appears as a cool black when viewed in dimmer lighting, and appears clearly as dark blue when viewed in brighter lighting.

Much like live music performance, slight variations make each print unique from the next, resulting from the labor intensive hand-printing process.

Mat size: fits a standard 8" x 10" frame

This print is sold unframed, and can be purchased with or without a mat.  CAMco strongly advises the use of a mat to frame art prints.  Besides its decorative appeal, this thick border piece creates a crucial air gap between the artwork and the frame's glass for the print's long term preservation.  CAMco uses acid free, archival grade materials for producing mats, and matted prints are sized to easily insert into standard picture frames (see size information above).
