Sonata
The concept of the sonata has evolved through the history of Western music, beginning in the Baroque era. Crucial to the sonata idea is the establishing of a tonal center, and the resulting development "away" and "towards" this center. This collection includes works that have the title of "Sonata," or its diminutive (Sonatina).
