Reed Quintet
The Calefax Reed Quintet is credited with founding a chamber music ensemble in 1985 which replaces the flute and horn of a traditional wind quintet with a bass clarinet and saxophone. With a more unified palette and unique blend, this recently-developed instrumentation has quickly gained increasing appreciation.
