I hereby submit the following piece for consideration as the world's most obscure-yet-delightful pun.
This artwork is hand-printed in two layers from a hand-carved block, signed and numbered from a limited edition of 22. Each print comes with a certificate of authenticity, as well as a key card denoting the twelve knot types illustrated in the print.
Printed with metallic silver and black oil-based inks and hand-finished with yellow colored pencil. Printed on 100% cotton Legion Somerset Satin paper with a deckled (feathered) edge. The metallic silver ink subtly reflects the ambient light.
Much like live music performance, slight variations make each print unique from the next, resulting from the labor intensive hand-printing process.
Image size: about 14.9" x 9.5"
Paper size: about 17.2" x 11.9"
The print can be matted for a standard 13" x 19" frame, with weighted top and bottom receiving very slightly (1/4 inch) wider borders (see preview image). If you would prefer different mat dimensions, please include a note in the message form on the customer cart page.
This print is sold unframed, and can be purchased with or without a mat. CAMco strongly advises the use of a mat to frame art prints. Besides its decorative appeal, this thick border piece creates a crucial air gap between the artwork and the frame's glass for the print's long term preservation. CAMco uses acid free, archival grade materials for producing mats, and matted prints are sized to easily insert into standard picture frames (see size information above).
Art-only orders qualify for free, no-rush shipping in the USA (no discount code needed).
